Epidemiological Evaluation of Pediatric Elbow Injuries: A Retrospective Observational Single Center

Abstract Introduction Elbow fractures are the commonest in pediatric age group. The aim of this study is to evaluate epidemiology fresh and neglected elbow a hilly state India with limited health care facility. Materials Methods This was retrospective observational single-center conducted between January 2019 2021. Results Supracondylar most common fracture 58.7% patients followed by lateral condyle proximal radius fracture. highest number were reported group 5 8 years. In addition, 19% presented associated complications, 8% had combination injuries ipsilateral upper limb, 16% hospital 1 week after trauma, 48% first contact bonesetter/native practitioner. Conclusion condyle. involved A significant mismanaged native practitioners rural India.
